Teochew Braised Duck with Fragrant Yam Rice

This is one of Ah Ma’s signature dish every Chinese New Year together with Ngoh Hiang, and it has always been what i look forward to the most during that time. Ah ma has stopped cooking as she is getting old, and now it is my turn to learn how to cook this for her to enjoy!

For the duck, i used 2 duck legs this time, halved the recipe and increased the simmering time to 1 hour.
