Bangers and Mash

DSC_0867 (2).JPG

This is one of England’s most popular dishes and of course it is also my English hubby’s favourites! Juicy kurobuta sausages for me, beef and garlic sausages for Benny, paired with creamy mashed potatoes and flavourful gravy, this is a winning combo! This is also surprisingly easy to make, so i get to rest early and make my hubby happy at the same time! Unfortunately, i do not have an exact recipe for my mashed potatoes. Although it is not exact. it is something i swear by and makes the smoothest, creamiest and yummiest mash every time!

To make mash: Mash hot boiled potatoes with a knob of butter, splash of milk, salt and cracked black pepper until smooth.

To make sausages: Bake sausages in a hot oven at 180 deg for 20 minutes. Sear in a hot pan until brown on both sides. Reserve pan juices to make gravy.
