I have been wanting to make sushi but it is only perfect with a dipping sauce. We can never finish our wasabi and it is not cheap at all. This is when i wondered what koreans eat with Gimbap, the korean version of sushi. I did some reading and came across the Mayak sauce. It really sounds like something Ben would love so i was excited to make him some! Turns out, this sauce is truly addictive. It is abit hot, sweet, sour and salty. It adds a great dimension to sushi instead of plain old wasabi. This sauce has tempted me to put Gimbap onto my to-cook-list. Give is a shot if you are making sushi and you might just get addicted!
