Chocolate Chiffon Log Cake with Chocolate Cream Frosting


Baked a smaller log cake for Ben as I have promised him. This is the same recipe as posted before but with a different frosting. The chocolate cream is quite simple to make, taste chocolately but not too sweet. I cannot decide which i like better šŸ™‚ Definitely a tedious and difficult bake but I have been so happy cooking and baking heaps of stuff for Ben this Christmas. Now i am planning for New Year’s, Valentine’s, Chinese New Year, and basically everyday. Cooking and baking for him simply makes me feel alive (although tired), haha!

Recipe for Chocolate Chiffon Log Cake

Method for making chocolate cream frosting:

Mix 2 heaped tablespoon of cocoa powder, 4 tablespoon of caster sugar and whisk with a few tablespoon of whipping cream. Mix well. Add in 1 cup of whipping cream and whisk until stiff.
