Baked a smaller log cake for Ben as I have promised him. This is the same recipe as posted before but with a different frosting. The chocolate cream is quite simple to make, taste chocolately but not too sweet. I cannot decide which i like better 🙂 Definitely a tedious and difficult bake but I have been so happy cooking and baking heaps of stuff for Ben this Christmas. Now i am planning for New Year’s, Valentine’s, Chinese New Year, and basically everyday. Cooking and baking for him simply makes me feel alive (although tired), haha!
Method for making chocolate cream frosting:
Mix 2 heaped tablespoon of cocoa powder, 4 tablespoon of caster sugar and whisk with a few tablespoon of whipping cream. Mix well. Add in 1 cup of whipping cream and whisk until stiff.
