Pandan Bread Loaf

I have decided to bake my mommy and Ah Ma a loaf of bread every week when i visit so that they will not need to buy store bought bread anymore. I was thinking of starting with something asian as my Ah Ma loves soft yummy bread. What better idea than a loaf of fragrant, aromatic pandan bread?  I loved the aroma it filled my house when it was baking! Anyway , Ah Ma kept saying she is very full from dinner and didnt want to try any but when she took the first bite, she went on finishing everything and said it’s yummy. That made me a very happy girl ❤

Ingredients:

  1. 260g bread flour
  2. 20g cake flour
  3. 125ml fresh milk
  4. 1 large egg
  5. 1/2 tsp salt
  6. 24g (2tbsp) sugar
  7. 1 tsp pandan paste
  8. 1/2 tsp pandan flavour
  9. 20g butter
  10. 1/2 heaped tsp instant yeast

Method:

  1. Place flour in the bread pan followed by milk, egg, salt, sugar, pandan paste and flavour and butter. (follow your manufacturer’s sequence)
  2. Place yeast in the yeast dispenser
  3. Select Menu 1 basic bread function and crust colour
  4. Press start and enjoy your yummy bread in 4 hours!
