Soft Chocolate Bread


Yes i know, I am having the bread fever atm. I cannot help it, I am sooo excited about baking breads now!! And this successful, soft, fluffy, yummy chocolate bread has just made my fever worst! omg it is so yummy!!! This is another easy recipe adapted from Wu Pao Chun Champion toast. My chocolate chips all melted even though i added it in halfway through. On hindsight, i will still add it in the recipe despite that as it gave the bread a stronger and nicer chocolate flavour. I will add it in at the beginning to save myself the trouble the next time.


  1. 260g bread flour
  2. 20g hershey’s cocoa powder
  3. 198g fresh chocolate milk
  4. 24g caster sugar (2tbsp)
  5. 1 tsp salt
  6. 14g butter
  7. 60g chocolate chips
  8. 1 tsp instant yeast


  1. Add bread flour, followed by cocoa, milk, sugar, salt and butter and chocolate chips in sequence into the bread pan. (Please follow manufacturer’s sequence)
  2. Place yeast in dispenser.
  3. Select Menu 3 for soft bread and crust colour.
  4. Press start and wait for your yummy bread!
